If you consolidate your private student loans into one loan your monthly payment is usually less than paying each individually. I have found that I am coming up short on cash by about $150 dollars a month. I have spoken to a loan officer and at a glance if I consolidate my private student loans into one loan I should be able to save around $220 dollars a month. This would be perfect and I could work a bit less and have more time for my studies. I would not even need my parents to sign if I consolidate my private student loans into one loan. However I would have may father look over the paperwork that is needed when I consolidate my private student loans before I would sign any of it.
