Karim Moolani

Managing Director

Karim Moolani is a Managing Director at Fundamental and a member of the Investment Team. Prior to joining Fundamental in 2023, Mr. Moolani was a Managing Director at Silver Point Capital where he focused on credit, equity and special situations investments primarily across real estate, gaming, leisure, lodging and infrastructure industries. Prior to Silver Point, Mr. Moolani was an associate at Oaktree Capital Management in their Special Situations Group, and McKinsey & Company where he began his career as an analyst in the Principal Investing Practice. Mr. Moolani graduated with honors with a B.A. in Finance from the University of Western Ontario’s Richard Ivey School of Business. Mr. Moolani currently serves on the Board of Directors of Readworks, an edtech nonprofit organization.
