Michael Lohr

Managing Director

Michael Lohr is a Managing Director at Fundamental and a member of the Investment Team. Prior to joining Fundamental in 2024, Mr. Lohr was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. While at Goldman Sachs, Mr. Lohr was a senior member of the Urban Investment Group and portfolio manager for the firm’s Opportunity Zone Funds, where he was responsible for originating and structuring complex public-private partnerships in real estate across the capital structure with a focus on mixed-income and affordable housing. Mr. Lohr brings extensive experience in community and economic development projects and tax-incentivized transactions, such as low-income housing tax credits. Mr. Lohr received his B.B.A. from the Stephen M. Ross Scholl of Business at the University of Michigan.
